Kerri McKay

A New York-based artist with academy-style training, a range of professional experience, and boundless energy. I aim to impress, amuse, excite, and inform my audience. I practice plein air observational painting and drawing, rendering what I see faithfully, with emphasis on particular colors or textures. Often, pencils, watercolors, and oils are all tied as my favorite media, but the subject matter (and the amount of time that I have for a given piece) generally dictate the best medium for the job.
